WATERBOMB Festival Makes Middle East Debut in Dubai

Inaugural Waterbomb Festival in Dubai to feature DJ Snake, Nicky Romero, Benny Benassi, and top Korean artists.

Final lineup revealed: DJ Snake, Nicky Romero, and Benny Benassi joins a star-studded lineup of Korean K-Pop Sensations, Hip Hop, and EDM artists for the two-day festival.

The inaugural Waterbomb Festival in Dubai is set to make waves with a spectacular lineup featuring global sensations DJ Snake, Nicky Romero, and Benny Benassi. This water-themed festival will take place at Dubai Festival City on Friday, June 7, and Saturday, June 8, 2024, marking a world-first for Waterbomb as it includes international and local acts alongside renowned Korean artists.

International Headliners

On Friday, June 7, the festival will feature Nicky Romero and Benny Benassi. Nicky Romero, a major figure in the EDM scene, gained international fame with tracks like “Toulouse,” “I Could Be the One” with Avicii, and “Legacy” with Krewella. Benny Benassi, recognized as a pioneer in electro-house, rose to fame with his 2002 anthem “Satisfaction” an iconic track that has been a music festival staple for years. Friday night’s Waterbomb line-up is definitely one you should not miss.

French producer and songwriter DJ Snake will headline on Saturday, June 8, bringing his unique blend of trap, hip-hop, and EDM. Known for his hits “Turn Down for What” featuring Lil Jon, “Lean On” with Major Lazer and MØ, and “Let Me Love You” featuring Justin Bieber; DJ Snake is expected to deliver an unforgettable performance.

Joining the international stars is UAE-based DJ Dany Neville, who will bring his legendary club set to the festival on Saturday. Neville, an award-winning DJ and familiar voice on Dubai’s airwaves, has performed at top venues across the UAE and globally.

Korean Sensations

In addition to the diverse array of talent gracing the festival’s lineup, a notable spotlight shines on the Korean music scene with the inclusion of K-Pop and Korean hip-hop sensations. For this debut event, attendees can anticipate energizing performances from renowned artists such as Jessi, Simon Dominic, Liu, Sorn, CL, BIG Naughty, PH-1, 82MAJOR, tripleS, OTWO, AK, Glory, InsideCore, Aster&Neo, and Blackswan.

By bringing together these Korean sensations for the first time in Dubai, the festival sets sights to celebrate the global influence of Korean music while providing a platform for the Middle East crowd to experience new artists and their culture, amplified by the fusion of international sounds and talents.

Full Lineup Schedule

On Friday, June 7, the Purple Team will feature performances by Nicky Romero, Benny Benassi, OTWO, Blackswan, Liu, Simon Dominic, and tripleS. The Orange Team will include Glory, InsideCore, Jessi, and Big Naughty.

On Saturday, June 8, the Purple Team’s lineup includes DJ Snake, CL, AK, Sorn, PH-1, and Dany Neville. The Orange Team will feature Aster&Neo, and 82MAJOR
