PAROOKAVILLE Announces Global Star Kygo Among Other Breathtaking Headliners For Its 7th Edition

In less than 165 days, the city gates of PAROOKAVILLE open again for the seventh time, welcoming more than 225,000 citizens for an unforgettable weekend to the City of Dreams. The plans for Germany’s largest Electronic Music Festival are running at full speed in anticipation of over 300 DJs on more than 10 stages celebrating every genre of Electronic Music with the city’s citizens this coming July 21st to 23rd. Our second Artist Announcement Week now signals not one, but two spectacular headliner premieres in store for fans with Kygo and Alok.

With his debut ‘Firestone’, Norway’s Kygo influenced an entire genre. His multi-platinum hits ‘It Ain’t Me’ (feat. Selena Gomez) and ‘Higher Love’ have combined for astronomical streaming figures, and sold-out stadium shows on every continent and innumerable headline appearances at the world’s biggest festivals have made Kygo a global superstar. This summer he can finally check Germany’s largest Electronic Music Festival off his gig bucket-list at PAROOKAVILLE! (Mainstage Headliner, Sunday)

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are the EDM scene’s most famous duo. Their celebrated festival gigs are legendary, and their songs regularly become festival anthems with combined streams running into the billions. This eccentric brother team has been a staple in the Top 5 of the DJ Mag Top 100 for a decade now, taking the No. 1 spot numerous times. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are here to stay in the global dance scene. (Mainstage Headliner, Friday)

Brazilian DJ and producer Alok is one of Brazil’s most successful artists and a global Ambassador for Brazilian Bass Music. This superstar and family-man also uses his creativity and popularity to benefit social issues. At the opening of the 2022 Global Climate Change Week, Alok performed together with a group of indigenous artists on the rooftop of the United Nations headquarters building in New York City. While Corona kept him away in 2020, Alok is now headed to the festival city for the first time. (Headliner, Bill’s Factory, Friday)

The Israeli DJ duo Vini Vici has been a pioneering force in Psytrance now for a decade, winning over fans including Trance icon Armin Van Buuren, who praises their style: Very few acts have such a well-defined, characteristic sound. Vini Vici were the first Psytrance genre act to perform as headliners at major EDM festivals. They bring their unmistakable style back to the PAROOKAVILLE Mainstage as the headliner on the festival Saturday.

And although Alle Farben is returning for his sixth performance at the upcoming seventh edition of the festival, this Parookaville regular also has a small premiere in store this year! This will be his debut performance on the Parookaville Mainstage, so the biggest crowd at the festival can look forward to celebrating his energetic sound accompanied onstage by live musicians.

Friday at Bill’s Factory will witness the 1LIVE Radio presentation of a brand new festival day with the very finest in House sounds. Along with headliner Alok, fans here will also celebrate with the British hit guarantor Joel Corry.

Hardstyle fans are in for a non-stop party featuring Dr. Peacock on Friday, D-Block & S-te-Fan on Saturday and Rooler on Sunday. And Kayzo and Slander will fire Bass music through the Cloud Factory on Friday, while Saturday will bring the Hardtechno thunderstorm that is Klangkuenstler.

More artists will be announced for our 2nd Announcement Week from Feb. 7th to 9th on the festival’s online channels.
