Day Zero, the visionary festival created by Damian Lazarus, will debut in Bali on April 17, 2026. The event unfolds at GWK Cultural Park, a site known for its monumental Vishnu Garuda statue and sweeping views. Running from sunset to sunrise, the gathering promises a transformative journey of sound and ritual.
Day Zero Bali 2026: Lineup and Artistic Vision
Damian Lazarus has curated a diverse roster for Bali’s first Day Zero edition. Bonobo, Âme, Jamie Jones, John Summit, and Jan Blomqvist headline alongside Lazarus himself. Certainly, each artist brings a unique sound, from melodic house to genre‑bending live performances.
The lineup also includes Acid Pauli, Francis Mercier, Kitty Amor, Brunello, Meera, and PNNY, Bali’s own collective. Rising talents such as RYOTA, Tina Colada, MĪMĪ x FY, Odyssey Crew, and Satori add depth to the program. Together, they reflect the festival’s ethos of balance, openness, and transformation.
Day Zero Bali continues the tradition established in Tulum and Brazil, where each edition mirrors its surroundings.
Venue and Cultural Significance
The festival will unfold at GWK Cultural Park, located on Bali’s southern peninsula. The venue is home to the towering Vishnu Garuda statue, a symbol of guardianship and harmony. Furthermore, its open‑air setting and proximity to the sea create a natural axis for sound and spirit.
Day Zero Bali is designed as a living ritual, evolving gradually through the night. As dawn breaks, Damian Lazarus will deliver a closing sunrise set, a hallmark of the Day Zero experience. In particular, his fearless edits and rare reworks anchor the final hours in reflection and collective release.
Additionally, this new Day Zero expansion represents the festival’s international growth. From the jungles of Tulum to the shores of Brazil, each edition reflects its land and culture. Bali now joins this constellation, chosen for its spiritual energy and balance.
The Bali edition also introduces Day Zero Week (April 14-19), featuring rituals and gatherings across the island. This expansion highlights the festival’s commitment to cultural storytelling and community engagement. Crosstown Rebels have partnered with the Savaya Group, whose dedication to electronic music and design has shaped Bali’s creative landscape.
Overall, Day Zero Bali 2026 marks a new chapter in Damian Lazarus’ global vision. With a carefully curated lineup, a sacred venue, and immersive programming, the festival promises to be one of the year’s most anticipated events.
